Starring Sally Hughes as Doris Day, directed by the award winning Alvin Rakoff, and written by Adam Rolston, A Sentimental Journey has been stunning audiences in the UK since 2009. Now, this superb production is about to hit the international stage, starting with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011.

The show will then return to The Mill at Sonning Dinner Theatre, UK, where it was first produced, before travelling across the Atlantic to The El Portal Theatre in Hollywood! Doris Day was one of the most prolific actresses of the 1950’s and 1960’s. A vivacious blonde with a wholesome image, she became one of the biggest box-office stars in the world, and America’s Sweetheart… But behind the screen, the gloss and the glam, there was a story that rivalled any script Hollywood could ever dream up.
